HISTORIC OCCASION, HISTORIC SITE
|
|
Join us as we honor the memory of those who lost and those who saved lives on September 11, 2001 on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of 9/11. The Fifth Emergency Management Summit is proud to be hosted at the NY Marriott at the Brooklyn Bridge, one of the triage sites on 9/11 and adjacent to the New York City Fire Department headquarters and the New York Police Department's 9-1-1 communications center. In addition to sessions onsite, the Summit will be arranging tours of Ground Zero. Come to New York City instead of DC (the traditional site of the EM Summit) in 2011 for a wide range of interactive sessions related to emergency management planning and response, as well as an opportunity to honor a time when the worst of times brought out the best in people.
